Janaury has arrived and with it comes the possibility for Arsenal to delve into the transfer window. The Gunners avoided conducting business in the first month of the year in 2024 but have made big signings such as Leandro Trossard and Jorginho previously. With Bukayo Saka ruled out through injury, there could be more temptation than usual to be active.

Mikel Arteta's side remain frequently linked to a goalscorer, while they must resolve the future of Marquinhos. The club's priority is likely to be putting themselves in the best position to chase down Liverpool in the Premier League however. Mirror Football takes a look at the latest transfer news and rumours surrounding the Emirates.

Omar Marmoush, who has been linked with a move to Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City, has revealed he has not currently thinking about a transfer. The Eintracht Frankfurt star has enjoyed an impressive season thus far and the Egypt international has scored 13 goals and provided 7 assists in 15 matches in the Bundesliga.

"What I can promise the fans is that I will give my all for Eintracht in every game”, Marmoush told TZ. “I am not thinking about a transfer. “I am living in the here and now and enjoying my time in Frankfurt.”. Celtic are hoping to come to an agreement with Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney. The Scotland international joined the Gunners from the Bhoys in 2019.

Tierney has dropped down the pecking order at the Emirates and struggled with injuries to enter the final year of his contract. Now, the full-back can engage in talks with clubs from around Europe with Celtic said to be interested in his return on a free transfer.
