Viewers of Dragons' Den were less than impressed just moments into the latest series. The hit BBC show's 22nd series commenced on Thursday (January 9), featuring usual suspects Deborah Meaden, Peter Jones, Sara Davies, Steven Bartlett, and Touker Suleyman as the formidable Dragons.

Joining the entrepreneurial heavyweights was The Body Coach himself, Joe Wicks, appearing as a guest judge. But his appearance immediately ignited a backlash from furious fans who couldn't understand why the programme would change its winning formula by introducing guest Dragons, reports the Express.

One irate viewer vented: "One wrote: "FFS! - New series of #DragonsDen on BBC and "guest influencers" to be a regular part of the show, tonight Joe Wicks. How long before we get a drag queen on the panel as is omnipresent on all BBC output?". Another expressed their exasperation online: "They're just ruining this programme. The celeb guests and the clearly targeted to them businesses... I'm out.".

Others joined the chorus of dissatisfaction, with one chiming in: "Can't fu****g BEAR guest dragons. Just to shoehorn in a schmaltzy hook. Get them OFF. I want Deborah and Peter fighting over a pitch, not some plonker wheeled in which messes the vibe up. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.".

Yet another declared emphatically: "You don't need guest judges!!!!". In similar sentiment, a different user questioned: "Why do Dragons Den need to add in guest judges?". And another commenter bluntly asserted: "There really is zero need for celebrity guest dragons.".
