It seems as though a brand new series of The Capture is on the way, following the success of seasons one and two. The six-part series, which first aired back in 2019, gained huge popularity with viewers. It followed one young detective who was handling the case of a British soldier who had been charged with a crime.
However, along the way, he starts to uncover a multi-layered conspiracy. The show was full of twists and turns along the way. It also had a stellar cast, including the likes of Ron Perlman, Lia Williams and Holliday Clark Grainger. Although its second season, which aired in 2022, has been highly praised by fans and has a perfect rating of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. It followed the world of deepfakes and disinformation, putting both national and international security at stake.
Now, three years after The Capture ended, production for another season is expected to start this Spring, according to TV Zone. Speaking about the thriller online, many fans have been left speechless by the plot twists that have unfolded along the way.
