The Traitors is airing its finale tonight (January 24) and while Storm Éowyn is making itself known, many of us are sitting tightly, waiting for the show to start. But taking to TikTok, one contestant has revealed a filming secret. Talking on the video app, Elen, who is from Wales (no, not Charlotte with the fake accent) said that she is often asked why they don't touch the food at breakfast. And there's a good reason for it.
She reveals: "People always ask why do we barely touch the food at breakfast. Because sometimes breakfast isn't actually filmed during breakfast time. "It is sometimes filmed at 1pm. So we're probably just not that hungry.". Elen said that she season three of The Traitors UK was filmed during May 2024. But she says that filming depends on the "availability of the castle" as well as the "weather in Inverness", located in Scotland.
The Welsh translator became the second person to be banished in between the murders and further revealed in the same video she initially wanted to be a Traitor. But when she arrived at the castle, things changed. She recalled: "I initially wanted to be a Traitor however once I arrived at the castle and I realised how stressed I was, and I really couldn't cope with the atmosphere, I was so relieved I was actually a Faithful.
"Because no way in hell would I have been able to maintain being a Traitor in that castle." For those keen to know, the show is filmed in Ardross Castle. As for the roundtable, the Welsh star reveals that these vary. "Sometimes they can take up to an hour to film. And if there is a lot of pointless conversations in between then it will just get cut out.
