Bianca Censori, known for her unique fashion choices, made a bold statement at the 67th Grammy Awards by wearing nothing but a see-through dress. The 30-year-old star attended the event with her husband, Kanye West, who was nominated for two awards and opted for an all-black ensemble of a t-shirt, jeans, sneakers and dark sunglasses. However, it was Bianca who stole the show when she dropped her black fluffy coat to reveal her bare body beneath a skin-tight mesh slip dress. With her hair tied back, every inch of her was on display, potentially landing her in hot water with the law.

According to California Penal Code 314(1), indecent exposure is defined as "when a person exposes his or her naked body or genitals in front of anyone who could be annoyed or offended by it.". It also stipulates that the act must be "willful and lewd" to be considered a crime. To be found guilty, a person must "intentionally expose your genitals or naked body; expose yourself in front of someone who might be offended or annoyed by it; intend to direct attention to yourself; and intend to sexually gratify yourself or offend someone else when you do it.".

Some may argue that Bianca's daring red carpet outfit fits this description, reports the Mirror US. A first-time offender is usually slapped with a misdemeanour, facing up to six months in the clink or a fine of £800. A repeat offender risks being banged up in state prison and slapped with a decade on the sex offenders register. But it's not just legal outfits causing a stir — social media has been ablaze over Bianca's risqué Grammy get-up. One tweeter remarked: "kanye and that lady should be arrested for that stunt on the red carpet...... #GRAMMYs.".

The red carpet shock comes before live performances coming up from many of the nominees, including stars such as Charli XCX, Chappell Roan, Billie Eilish, Janelle Monáe, Stevie Wonder, Lady Gaga, Chris Martin, Doechii, and Sabrina Carpenter. This year’s Grammy Awards are a little bit different to previous events, after the Los Angeles wildfires put the likelihood of the event taking place up in the air. However, California governor Gavin Newsom gave the go ahead. The show adopted a reimagined format, including a toned-down red carpet.
