Bournemouth will seal the £12million signing of left back Julio Soler from Lanus this week. The 19-year old has agreed a four and a half year contract and is due in England ahead of a medical. Bournemouth have moved for the Argentina U23 international with regular left back Milos Kerkez attracting interest from the likes of Manchester United.

Soler has played 58 games for Lanus as their regular left-sided defender after breaking into the team two years ago. Born in Asuncion, the capital of Paraguay, he has represented Argentina at youth level and is looking to make the next step in his career by making the move to the Premier League.

Kerkez, meanwhile, has excelled this season after nailing down the left back spot under Andoni Iraola and is being monitored by a number of sides. Ruben Amorim's Manchester United are one of the sides interested in signing Kerkez. United are looking to rebuild under Ruben Amorim, who took over from Erik ten Hag this season but his side have lost five of their last six games and are 14th in the Premier League table.

They have struggled for options at left wing back, with Luke Shaw out injured again and Tyrell Malacia just coming back from a long-term injury. Diego Dalot has filled in but is more comfortable on the right, and many have suggested that left wing back, which would suit Kerkez and his attacking abilities, may be an area of priority.
