Bournemouth star Max Aarons travels to Spanish giants ahead of sealing loan deal after interest from across Europe in former Norwich right back

Bournemouth full-back Max Aarons has travelled to Valencia ahead of securing his loan move. Mail Sport revealed this week that the former England U21 international would be allowed to leave amid interest from foreign clubs with LaLiga strugglers Valencia among them.

Talks have accelerated over the course of the week and the former Norwich star is now travelling to southern Spain to seal the deal. The full-back, who joined the Cherries in 2023, has seen his first team opportunities limited under Andoni Iraola this season making just three appearances so far - including just one start.

And the Premier League club are prepared to let the right-back leave the club during the January window. Clubs across France, Italy and Spain had expressed an initial interest in the 25-year-old. Ligue 1 club Lille were also among the teams interested.
