Boy, 13, chopped by boat propeller after dad threw him into the sea A 13-year-old boy was fatally struck by the propellers of a speedboat after his own father hurled him into the sea during a trip to Thailand, it has been reported.
Local media reported that the 45-year-old had forcefully grabbed the boy with both his hands, shoving him onto the left side of the boat near the bow.
The Russian national stood up and approached Lucas, who held dual Thai-Russian nationality, and threw him into the water, the Bangkok Post reported.
Lucas had suffered multiple injuries to his head and face believed to have been caused by the boat’s propeller.
He was given first aid on the boat and was then transported to Kuraburi Chai Pattana Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
