The arrival of the brand new Netflix reality TV series Celebrity Bear Hunt is almost upon us with the launch date of February 5, 2025 imminent. Presented by Holly Willoughby and Bear Grylls, Celebrity Bear Hunt sees famous faces journey to Costa Rica to face some pretty gruelling challenges. The stars will also be trying to escape survival expert Bear, 50, who will be hunting them through the jungle.
Eager to make a splash with the first season, Netflix has packed Celebrity Bear Hunt’s first line-up with many big names from pop music, comedy, dancing, and sport. Here’s everything you need to know about Celebrity Bear Hunt…. The series is presented by Holly and will follow 12 celebrities as they enter a Central American jungle, aiming to make it out the other side as fast as they can. On their tail will be adventurer Bear who’s trying to prevent them from reaching the finish line.
Filmed in Costa Rica, Celebrity Bear Hunt will fully test their survival skills and endurance in the toughest environment. Aiming to get away from Bear are Spice Girls singer Mel B, retired tennis player Boris Becker, and interior design TV presenter Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen. There’s also presenter Steph McGovern, former rugby player Danny Cipriani, and Strictly Come Dancing head judge Shirley Ballas.

Rapper Big Zuu (real name Zuhair), former Saturdays singer Una Healy, and The Inbetweeners star Joe Thomas are all heading to Costa Rica too. Completing the line-up are fashion model Lottie Moss, Ted Lasso actor Kola Bokinni, and former Victoria’s Secret model Leomie Anderson.
Celebrity Bear Hunt will be available on Netflix from February 5 in the United Kingdom – Netflix usually releases new content at 8am. It’s not known yet whether the entire season will be dropped all at once or if episodes will be split into two parts. However, Netflix tends to drop its reality content in one chunk. The split release schedules are often reserved for fictional shows, such as Cobra Kai, Bridgerton, and, of course, Stranger Things.
