Coronation Street’s Charlotte Jordan has dropped a hint about her forthcoming exit. The actress, 29, confirmed earlier this month that she has quit her role as Rovers Return landlady Daisy Midgeley after four years on the ITV soap. She is one of several cast members who have announced they are leaving this year – but it seems fans will be seeing Daisy on screen for a while yet.
Charlotte revealed she was still filming scenes for the show in a post she shared on Instagram on Friday. The soap films around six weeks in advance of transmission, meaning Daisy will still be treading the cobbles until late March at least. The character is currently involved in a complicated love quadrangle involving Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard), Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) and Kit Green (Jacob Roberts).
