Chilling Snapchats of vile gang who stabbed transgender teen nine times after sex act

A vile gang of youths who viscously stabbed a transgender girl shared sickening messages and videos via Snapchat in the aftermath of their attack. The 18-year-old victim now lives with "thick scars" and significant emotional trauma following the nightmare attacks at Harrow Leisure Centre, North West London, on February 10, 2024.
Summer Betts-Ramsey, 20, who carried out the horrific stabbing, was yesterday (January 16) sentenced to eight-and-a-half years in youth detention, four-and-a-half of which must be served in custody. Bradley Harris, Camron Osei, and Shiloh Hindes, all 18, were each sentenced to three years in youth detention, while a fifth teenager, an unnamed 17-year-old boy, was handed a youth rehabilitation order.
The Old Bailey heard how Harris had discovered the victim was transgender after receiving oral sex from her. In response, he shared a clip of the act on Snapchat, which he had recorded without her knowledge, and recruited Betts-Ramsey and other friends to lure the girl to a roller disco under the pretence that she'd been invited to a party.
Instead, the girl was beaten, kicked, stamped on and stabbed nine times - all while the assailants abused her with transphobic slurs. Thankfully, the teenager survived her injuries after a passerby mercifully intervened. After being rushed to the hospital, she required plastic surgery treatment and has reported feeling "depressed" in the aftermath of their terrifying ordeal. Describing the attack as "shamelessly hateful and dehumanising", Judge Philip Katz KC stated that it had been motivated by a "distorted notion of revenge" and was at least partially linked to the young woman’s gender identity.
