Cleaning fans run to supermarkets for miracle dish spray that’s just like viral £11 American buy

CLEANING fanatics declared 2024 as the year of the Spanish cleaning products. And just two days into the new year it looks like it is an American buy that social media users can't stop raving about. Shoppers in the UK have even resorted to paying £11 on Amazon to get their hands on the Dawn PowerWash, that cuts through food and grease on dishes.

So they're delighted after spotting a Fairy version in supermarkets this week. Sharing a snap of his find on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook, which boasts 2.6million members, one cleaning fan said: "Finally got it in the US!! This is the Dawn PowerWash I keep seeing on TikTok, Dawn is just the US name for Fairy.
"They had two scents in Tesco, Lemon and Fresh, £3.25 on Clubcard, so much cheaper than the import on Amazon!!". Shoppers have also spotted it in Morrisons, £4.24 full price or £3 if you have a More Card, and in Asda. Top Scottish cleanfluencer Kayleigh Taylor confessed to forking out for the Amazon version before hunting down the new Fairy product in her local Morrisons.
She said: "Been a while since I have wanted to go and hunt down a new cleaning product. "So the Dawn dish soap power spray thing that we all love from the US, that we all pay fortunes for off Amazon, it's usually between £10 and £20. Basically P&G have finally listened and they have brought out a version in the UK.".
