A woman has been left scarred for life after she was attacked by two drunk mothers during a late-night catfight. Darcy Mossman, from Flint, North Wales, was left with a 3cm cut to her forehead after having a wine glass thrown at her by Ffion Dutton, 26, during the altercation and now has a prominent scar of which she feels 'extremely conscious'.
This happened after the 25-year-old and Dutton from Mold, Flintshire had earlier thrown spirits over each other. Ms Mossman had left the toilet at Bonobo bar in Chester when CCTV caught Katie Roberts, 29, of Hawarden, Deeside, punching her twice to the side of the face knocking her to the ground before Dutton threw a glass at her while she was on the ground.
Describing the impact of having the scar on her face and how the assault had affected her socially, Ms Mossman said: 'The scarring has put a huge dent in my confidence. I find that I am more reserved and withdrawn.'. The duo faced jail but walked free after claiming their children would 'suffer' if they went to prison.
Chester Crown Court heard how all three women were enjoying a night out in Chester city centre when the 'unprovoked attack' happened on March 23. Prosecutor Shannon Stewart told the court: 'While in Church Bar, Miss Mossman saw both defendants.
