Cynthia — who recreated her viral 'holding space' moment with Taylor Swift —  sported a stunning array of rings, but it was an enormous diamond ring, as well as a second diamond-covered infinity ring, that got fans chatting. The 38-year-old Wicked star's partner Lena, 40, upped the stakes by wearing what appeared to be a simple gold band, setting off rumors that the lovebirds might have even gotten married.

Cynthia may have been putting her rings on display when she walked the red carpet before the ceremony started. She wore a lovely navy blue dress with a plunging neckline reaching down to her midriff, as well as a shimmering silver top underneath that reached up to her neck and revealed a quadrilateral-shaped cut-out. The Oscar-nominee also bared her long, ornate nails — as if usual for her — but she had more sparklers than usual.

Her left-hand ring finger bore a massive diamond ring in a square or cushion cut, which looked suspiciously like an engagement ring. Next to it was an infinity ring with multiple diamonds strung together in a loop. It's not at all uncommon for stars to borrow or rent jewelry for big awards shows, but Cynthia had previously worn the diamond infinity ring to the Golden Globe Awards in January, according to Bride's magazine, suggesting that the piece is her own.

The rings were still on when the Wicked star took part in a tribute to Quincy Jones on stage, suggesting that they weren't just for show on the red carpet. Her partner Lena skipped the red carpet, but the lovebirds were pictured together inside the Crypto.com Arena, and Lena sported her own striking ring. Instead of the opulent diamonds that Cynthia wore, Lena's right ring finger was decorated with a thick gold band in the style of a wedding ring.

The actress and writer appears to have also worn the ring to last month's Golden Globe Awards, suggesting that she owns the gold band and isn't just borrowing it. She and Cynthia have known each other since at least 2018. In a night of shocks and snubs, Beyonce finally won her first Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards just 12 months after her husband Jay-Z had an epic public tantrum about her being overlooked by the Recording Academy. Meanwhile, music superstar Taylor Swift was stunningly snubbed in all six categories she was nominated, despite her record The Tortured Poets Department being the best-selling album of 2024.

Kendrick Lamar was also a massive winner as the rapper earned two of the 'big four' awards with both Song Of The Year and Record Of The Year for his Drake diss track Not Like Us at the event held at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday. The final award which is considered part of the 'big four' was earned by Chappell Roan in the Best New Artist category which featured one of the most impressive fields of all-time in the category.

She was joined on stage by 13-year-old daughter Blue Ivy as she began her acceptance speech by acknowledging them for their courage as she said: 'I'd like to thank and acknowledge and praise all the firefighters for keeping us safe.'. 'I just feel very full and very honored. It's been many, many years. And I just want to thank the Grammys, every songwriter, every collaborator, every producer, all of the hard work. I want to dedicate this to Ms. Martell, and just keep pushing forward, opening doors. God bless. Thank you so much. Thank you.'.
