Daisy rushed to hospital in Coronation Street – and a big shock follows

Little Bertie Osbourne (Rufus Morgan-Smith)’s birthday party quickly descends into chaos in upcoming Coronation Street episodes, when a jealous Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) gets drunk and ends up injuring her rival, Daisy Midgley (Charlotte Jordan). A trip to hospital then leads to a massive revelation with huge consequences.

Bethany is irritated from the outset of the birthday party because Bertie insists on sitting on Daisy’s lap. As Daniel (Rob Mallard)’s fiancee, Bethany is upset that the little boy is so clingy with Daniel’s ex and it heightens the insecurity she feels whenever Daisy’s around and the unsettling feeling that Daniel would rather be with her.
Even worse, she soon sees Daniel and Daisy whispering together. What she doesn’t know is that Bertie has seen Cassie (Claire Sweeney) putting drugs in Ken (William Roache)’s tea, and he’s told Daisy. She quickly passes on the information to Daniel.
