They said: "Alice was a bright, loving and beautiful girl, who brought her family and friends joy every day.
Hussain today pleaded guilty to causing Alice's death by dangerous driving on July 8, 2023.
Barrister Soheil Khan, for Hussain, said: "He knows that the tragedy in which his actions ended will mean an immediate custodial sentence.".
Alice Williams was on a pedestrian crossing in Halifax, West Yorkshire, when she was struck by Qadeer Hussain.
Alice's headteacher at St Mary’s Catholic Primary Academy also released a statement following the tragedy.
