A new year brings a new range of films to Netflix, including some old faves like Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling’s first iconic romantic comedy.
Now, it’s landed on the streaming giant, giving fans a chance to fall in love with the film that showcased Emma, 36, and Ryan’s undeniable onscreen chemistry for the very first time.
While glum at first, his luck takes a turn when he meets Jacob, played by Ryan, who helps him through his break-up by giving Cal a makeover and teaching him how to pick up women in a bar.
At the time of the film’s release, it grossed a worldwide total of $145 million, against its production of $50 million and opened at number five at the North American Box Office on its first weekend.
