One of Emma Stone’s most beloved films is finally available to stream on Amazon Prime Video, nearly 15 years after it premiered. Easy A was released in September, 2010, to huge acclaim from fans and critics alike – it still commands an incredible Rotten Tomatoes score of 85% from impressed reviewers.

The Oscar-winner led the way in the teen rom-com, playing high-school student Olive, who lied about losing her virginity to cover up the fact that she spent her weekend at home, listening to Natasha Bedingfield all weekend. However, the fib was overheard by a prudish student and was immediately spread around the school, with Olive’s life, and reputation, quickly spiraling out of control.

Emma starred alongside Penn Badgley, Amanda Bynes, Lisa Kudrow, Stanley Tucci, Fred Armisen and Patricia Clarkson, with Will Gluck serving as director. In the lead up to Valentine’s Day, the iconic comedy has been added to the Prime Video slate in the UK, meaning users can now rewatch – and sing along – as much as they like.

Easy A was an instant hit when it hit the big screen more than a decade ago, with the lead star earning huge praise for her efforts as the sassy teenager. Associated Press’ Jake Coyle wrote: ‘Olive is a kind of modern day Ferris Bueller. She has it pretty close to all figured out, and she even gets her own big, gratuitous musical number.

‘It’s a terrifically deadpan, lively performance from Stone.’. Tim Grierson from Screen International agreed: ‘Sassy but also sincere, Easy A is an immensely likeable high-school comedy powered by an appealing lead performance from up-and-coming actress Emma Stone.’.
