Everything fans need to know to watch WWE make Netflix history

WWE has officially arrived on Netflix with fans seeing the wrestling giant enter a new era. After 31 years, Monday Night Raw has left traditional television all around the world, while SmackDown, NXT and more huge shows have a new home in the UK and beyond.

It’s a big move for Netflix too as the streamer is takes strides into live streaming following the Mike Tyson versus Jake Paul fight in November. After a decade of the WWE Network and five years of BT Sports/TNT Sport,everything changes from today for fans with the way we consume wrestling becoming very different.

The Raw debut on Netflix is fast approaching, but there’s still plenty to look into as WWE takes over. Here’s everything you need to know…. It’s live now! For fans in the UK (and much of the world outside the United States), WWE content has launched on Netflix as of New Year’s Day.

The official move is coming with the January 6 episode of Monday Night Raw (for US fans, that’s the only show heading to Netflix right now). Right now, a limited number of historic premium live events are available to watch on demand via Netflix. It seems more is planned in the future, as the streaming company teased: ‘In January 2025, Netflix will begin to roll out select WWE archival content on service.’.
