Microsoft has confirmed the games coming to Xbox Game Pass for the remainder of January, and one big-name title landing on February 4. The announcement can be split into two halves. There are the games new to the service, or returning, and those that have dropped down to the cheaper Game Pass Standard tier.

Let’s start with the former. Unless stated, these games are coming to all tiers of Xbox Game Pass subscriber:. And here are the games that have finally dribbled down to the Xbox Game Pass Standard tier, all available now:. Those hoping for big triple-A games this month are out of luck. And, while February’s Far Cry New Dawn is such a title, it’s also now half-a-decade old.

However, there some games we think you should check out. Here are our ones-to-watch this month. Eternal Strands is a fantasy action-adventure, and the first title from developer Yellow Brick Games. One of the big selling points is you get to fight absolutely massive boss enemies. And the combat includes magic abilities that let you harness ice, gravity and fire.

Next up, Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector is the sequel to one of the best games of 2022. It’s a story-based role-playing title that plays out like a board game. Each turn you choose your action, and dice rolls determine how successful you are. Citizen Sleeper 2 is set in a sci-fi-style future. You are an android with a faulty memory who has to try to get a foothold in a hostile world. Well, a hostile universe as the game is set in space — as you travel across the Starward Belt.
