We’ve played hundreds of games this year, including many of the Xbox-exclusive and Xbox first-party games. If you’re looking for a new Xbox game to play, then we have some great choices, all available on Game Pass.

Here are the five best Xbox games that launched in 2024. Call of Duty has seen highs and lows over the years, but Black Ops 6 is another return to form for the series. Black Ops 6 has a fully-featured multiplayer suite, a fun campaign, and one of the best Zombies modes we’ve ever seen.

Even better, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers could play it for free, which almost makes up for the services’ massive price increases. While the creatures look similar to Pokémon’s, it’s actually a survival-crafting game about collecting resources and building a base. The unique blend of monster collecting and base building had us hooked despite comparisons to Nintendo’s blockbuster franchise.
