A London Fire Brigade spokesperson said: ‘Crews were called to a reports of a ceramic track support that had overheated at Kennington Underground Station on Kennington Park Road.
London Fire Brigade and other emergency crews rushed to the scene after reports of a ‘ceramic track support’ overheating in the Kennington Tunnels on York Road, south east London at 7.37am this morning.
‘The Brigade’s 999 Control officers received their first call at 0737 and deployed fire crews from Lambeth and Dowgate fire stations to the incident.
