Raymond van Barneveld crashed out of the PDC World Darts Championships as Nick Kenny celebrated an emotional victory at Alexandra Palace. Darts legend Van Barneveld, who won the PDC world title back in 2007, headed into this year's event at the 32nd seed.

The 57-year-old suffered a mishap before his second round match against Kenny, with the wrong song playing during his walk on. Van Barneveld been delayed as he waited for his famous 'Eye of the Tiger' walk on, only for the music to cut out twice and another song play as he made his way to the stage.

'Barney' then endured an under-par performance against Kenny, with the 31-year-old Welshman taking a two set lead. Van Barneveld pulled himself back into the contest by winning the next set of the first to three clash. Darts legend Raymond van Barneveld crashed out of the PDC World Darts Championships.
