Former PGA Tour pro Ollie Schniederjans is gearing up for a big year in 2025. The 31-year-old, who was the world No.1 amateur golfer when he earned his way onto the PGA Tour back in 2016, lost his card three years later in 2019. Since then, Schniederjans has been playing on the Korn Ferry Tour.

He finished 100th on the circuit's season-long points list last year but now looks set to make a move to LIV Golf after having been named in the field for the Saudi Arabian-backed tour's Promotions events in December. Despite missing out on making the final round, it now appears that he will be partnering with LIV for 2025 as a reserve player - a move which will also allow him to feature in the Asian Tour International Series too.

In a post on X, Schniederjans wrote: "Gearing up for 2025 and excited for the great opportunity to be a LIV Golf reserve player and to play the Asian Tour International Series this year.". This career switch means he will be able to play around the world on the Asian Tour, whilst also being able to sub in for LIV players at any point during the 2025 season. Schniederjans has replaced Ben Campbell in the unique role after it was announced the New Zealander had signed for Bubba Watson's RangeGoats GC.

Campbell's stint as a golfer saw him make three LIV appearances throughout the season, and he even clinched victory at the International Series Morocco on the Asian Tour. Hot off the press is Campbell's move to Watson's RangeGoats GC, coming just days after Luis Masaveu was snapped up by Sergio Garcia's Fireballs GC.
