Minis and Tilted Towers return to Fortnite in OG Season 2, and the game's patch notes reveal a huge list of additions, changes and useful information. Fortnite OG Season 2 has been a long time coming. At this point, there has been a hefty lineage of throwback opportunities for Fortnite, first launching the Fortnite OG mini-season that cycled through the entire first chapter of the game in only a month, and after player figures for the season broke new records, Epic Games clearly saw that it was onto a winner. Now that we’ve seen the other side of Fortnite Remix Chapter 2, and Fortnite OG has become a mainstay mode in the game’s launcher, we now get to bear witness to the return to a truly golden era.

Fortnite OG Season 2, the second iteration of the throwback mode, has arrived in the game after the v33.30 update downtime, and the new map changes have brought back the iconic Tilted Towers among other classic POIs. There’s a lot to see and do in this season, so we’re not messing around – here’s everything you need to know about the incoming refreshed mode in the Fortnite OG Season 2 patch notes.

Massive unvaultings have taken place in the new Fortnite OG Season 2 patch notes, with the refreshed season finally adding Small Shield Potions to the game, known affectionately to the game’s community as Minis. There’s a pretty loaded arsenal waiting for you in-game, so here’s everything you can expect in the new unvaulting, that will roll out across the mode during the season:. Small Shield potions (live now).

Multi-Surface Damage Trap (live now). Boogie Bomb. Suppressed Pistol. Cozy Campfire. Chug Jug. Minigun. Crossbow. Impulse Grenade. It’s a lot to put to use, but we’re sure that players will get to spamming in the way that only they can. We’re going to be very excited to see how poor players will be tortured with Boogie Bombs next. Of course, the new season has given way to brand new cosmetics, predominantly flowing from the Season 2 OG Pass. The three skins leading the charge are Sparkle Diva, Cuddle Team Specialist and Knight Conqueror. Thanks to leaker @SpushFNBR on Twitter, though, we know that Sparkle Specialist will be unlocked with the first level of the pass, Cuddle Team Specialist will come with level 20, and the remixed Black Knight will be at the end of the pass at level 45. You’ll have to put some work in for the most exciting skin, of course, but we’re willing to bet that players have it in them to get to the end.

The Battle Pass will also come packed with a Sparkle Satchel Back Bling, Cuddle Team Sierra Glider and Conquerer’s Axe Pickaxe, so you won’t be at a loss of the game’s other cosmetics. In terms of mechanical changes coming to the game, the best place to look is the Fortnite community Trello board, where Fortnite developers share the issues found in game that they’re working on, and what’s to come in the latest fix. Here’s everything listed as ‘Fixed in Next Game Update’ under the Battle Royale / Reload / OG tab of the Trello board:.

Players might get stuck in a sliding animation while moving around regularly – occasionally, players may find themselves stuck in a sliding animation when moving or standing still after using the sliding mechanic as intended. Players unable to enter build mode using build tools bound to the F key – We’ve identified a keybind overlap issue affecting multiple build keybinds on the keyboard. The fix ro address these conflicts is in the works and will be coming with the v33.30 game update. As a temporary workaround, go to the ‘Misc’ section under the ‘Keyboard Controls’ tav and remove or remap the ‘DBNO Carry’ and ‘Object Carry’ keybinds.

Display issues in split screen when three or more players are signed in – If three or more players are signed in to a console and play Fortnite in split screen mode while the third player is not in the game, they may notice a third display pop up instead of the intended two. Structures at BURD drop Stone instead of Metal – When harvesting resources at the BURD gas station, some metal structures may drop Stone instead of intended Metal.

That’s everything you need to know about the new throwback experience in the Fortnite OG Season 2 patch notes! This season is going to be a riot, and as the game does away with some of the clunkier elements of the game’s first iteration, we’re finally in for the accessible trip down memory lane we’ve waited for. Thank goodness we’ve at least got Minis back. The latest console and PC gaming news and reviews.
