Love Island has lost its second star in a matter of days with another islander walking out of the villa. Ron Hall has become the second ITV star to dramatically leave the villa - less than 24 hours after Scott Thomas' shock exit. Ron entered the villa as a bombshell earlier in the series but has now reportedly quit after failing to find a connection with any of the girls on the show. A source told The Mirror: "Ron has left the villa. He feels he no longer wants to wait to see if he’ll find a connection with a new bombshell.".

Ron's exit comes after Love Island star Scott Thomas chose to leave the show in last night's episode, telling his fellow co-stars that his time was up in the villa. The 36-year-old had sat down with Tina Stinnes earlier in the episode to chat about their relationship, telling her: "Something is holding me back from going to the next level…I want to give you that, but I can’t if I don’t fully feel it. You fully deserve that.".

After overhearing Elma Pazar saying that he's had "two blinding birds" but found something "missing for both of them", Scott argued with her before gathering the cast around the firepit to reveal his decision to quit. "I don’t want this to be sad because I’ve had the best time ever, but I've made the decision to leave and I think it’s the right time. I don’t want everyone to be sad, I’m in a good place about it," he said.

Speaking to host Maya Jama after his exit, Scott said: "The first time I did this show I had that instant connection with someone, and it made everything so much easier," speaking of ex-girlfriend Kady McDermott. He added: "I think I took it for granted the first time round. To find someone you’ve got that - I call it fireworks. I had a connection with Tina but it wasn’t fireworks, and yeah, it feels like the right decision.".

Now Ron has become the latest star to quit the show after failing to find love. The former financial advisor, who took part in Love Island's ninth series and left with ex-girlfriend Lana Jenkins, originally coupled up with Kaz Crossley after joining as a bombshell. However, Kaz's head was turned by new bombshell Montel McKenzie before the pair were eventually dumped from the villa. Ron then coupled up with Harriett Blackmore after she chose to recouple with him, however he revealed that he didn't fancy the 24-year-old.
