The storm has sparked extreme warnings for the area and Northern Ireland, with the storm likely to damage buildings, uproot trees and cause power cuts, the Met Office said.
Sainsbury’s also said it will close its supermarkets and convenience stores in Scotland and Northern Ireland on Friday, January 24.
Morrisons said 50 of its stores in Scotland would close because of Storm Eowyn.
The stores across the region will be closed today, January 24, with a spokesperson telling The Sun they will reopen when it is "safe to do so".
