Berner's poorly-timed joke was on Netflix's comedy special, Torching 2024: A Roast of the Year, which was released Friday but amid the aftermath of Lively and Baldoni's legal battle.

The Summer House alum has since clarified the special was shot prior to the world learning of Lively's legal complaint. While on stage, Berner tells the crowd: 'The word c**t was trending this year,' before adding, 'I don't think Blake Lively was that bad.' The joke garnered laughter from the crowd.

Berner took to her Instagram Stories on Friday to shed light on the timeline, adding she completely stood behind Lively. 'My joke in the Netflix special was filmed before news of the lawsuit,' she posted to her Instagram Stories. 'To be 100 percent clear, I support Blake xoxo,' she added.
