Danny Castledine, 22, was knifed 44 times near the Singel canal during a stop in the Dutch capital while he and a friend made their way to a music festival in Belgium in June 2022.
Mr Castledine, sustained 44 wounds near the Singel canal in the early hours of June 1 2022 after stopping in the city with a friend on the way to a music festival in Belgium.

Assistant coroner Nathanael Hartley concluded he was unlawfully killed following an inquest in Nottingham on Tuesday, with the cause of death recorded as ‘multiple stab wounds’.
