Harry Maguire has revealed that he is in talks with Manchester United over signing a new contract, with his current deal set to expire at the end of the season. United have the option to extend his contract for an additional year, which would tie him to the club until 2026.

Asked about his future at the club and whether he wanted to sign a new deal, Maguire, who is on £190,000-a-week, said: ‘Listen, I haven’t really thought about it. 'I’ve still got this year to go with an option in their hands, But all the signs are positive at the moment and the chat that I’m having is really positive.’.
Maguire played the full game against Manchester City in a back three under Ruben Amorim and the England international stressed that Amorim is ‘tactically very good’ when asked what has changed at the club under the new manager. ‘You can see we have a good structure, a good style of play and the way that he wants us to work,’ said Maguire.
