Helldivers 2 revealed its new Killzone collaboration to excitement, and a little bit of ire over its prices – so Arrowhead is amending its misjudgments with a collection of free cosmetics. Helldivers 2 is having a big month. As part of The Game Awards 2024 announcements we got a peek at the new Omens of Tyranny update, which debuted the same day, revealing the long-awaited return of the Illuminate to the Helldivers lore and establishing new vehicles, weapons, foes, and planets to explore. The fresh update also came along with a new Warbond which established new excitement for the title, and as the alien race is now in-game and ready to be slaughtered, players are getting stuck all the way in. It doesn’t end there, though.

Revealing its first-ever crossover, Arrowhead Game Studios has announced a new collaboration between PlayStation’s leading shooter and a classic champion of Sony’s output – Killzone 2 is coming to Super Earth. It might not be exactly what Killzone fans have been waiting for, but it’s still cool as hell.

The new crossover is coming packed with some endlessly cool and iconic cosmetic items that players can get their hands on, but even though it’s the first that many players have seen of Killzone in a while, there are some that are still rubbed the wrong way by the new collection. Here’s everything you need to know about the Helldivers 2 Killzone crossover.

Helldivers 2 has now revealed two waves of Killzone items for players to unlock, and after fan backlash against the prices of the cosmetics, the company has come forward to offer players the planned second wave of items to those same players for free. We’ll get to those – but first, Arrowhead debuted heaps of new items, featuring the iconic armour set that is featured across much of Killzone’s promotional materials.
