Holly Willoughby is breaking her interview silence with a return to a major talk show. The Dancing on Ice host will appear on The Graham Norton Show on Friday, after taking a step back from more personal TV appearances. Joining her on the show will be plenty of A-List talent, including Robert De Niro and Alan Carr. Elton John will also make an appearance, and treat viewers to a musical performance alongside American singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile.

Holly has mainly stayed away from chatty TV appearances since leaving This Morning in October 2023, shortly after her former co-star Phillip Schofield quit the show in May 2023. The duo’s final months on the show were tainted, after Phil admitted that he engaged in an affair with a much younger crew member behind the scenes of the daytime show. After the news came out, Holly shared that she was “hurt” at having supported Phil only to find the allegations were true.

Even before the affair scandal, Holly and Phil had experienced months of negative headlines before his exit, including an uproar over seemingly skipping the queue to view the late Queen Elizabeth II lying in state, and rumours of behind-the-scenes arguments. Around the same time as the This Morning drama, Holly was undergoing a traumatic experience after a kidnap plan against her was foiled.

Holly will likely talk to Graham about her new Netflix show, Celebrity Bear Hunt, which she’s hosting alongside survival expert Bear Grylls, 50. As the show’s title hints, the new series will see Bear hunting down different stars, while Holly will act as the presenter.
