Hulk Hogan ‘booed out of the building’ by WWE Raw fans on Netflix premiere

Hulk Hogan made a rare WWE appearance for the first Raw on Netflix but fans didn’t sound happy to see him. The 71-year-old Hall of Famer, who backed Donald Trump during his recent presidential campaign, came out to his iconic Real American entrance music with longtime on-screen manager Jimmy Hart.
He tried to hype up his own wrestling legacy, his love for the fans and his Real American Beer’s new deal with WWE, but fans could be heard loudly booing his every word. ‘Hogan getting booed out the building,’ wrote @That_5Life on X, while @lilmecca said: ‘Ever thought I’d hear Hogan get booed like this #WWEonNetflix #WWERaw’.
‘Hogan getting booed. Lmaooo #RawOnNetflix,’ laughed @Mc_Guane, as @StoreyXIV added: ‘Hogan getting booed massively is hilarious #RawOnNetflix.’. And @byMikeDavis quipped: ‘Hulk Hogan getting booed out of the building. Maybe 2025 has a shot after all.’.
It was echoes of his return at WrestleMania 37 in 2021 when he was loudly booed as he co-hosted the event with Titus O’Neil, while his last appearance at the Raw XXX 30th anniversary show two years ago was marred by technical difficulties. Hogan was fired from WWE in 2015 after a recording of him using the N-word was leaked during a sex tape lawsuit he filed against Gawker magazine.
He was later reinstated by WWE in 2018 after apologising for his comments leaked in the 2015 trial, and last year he described the scandal as a ‘speed bump’. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video.
