I booked the trip of a lifetime for my sister's 30th birthday days before she was killed in a tragic accident - Ryanair still charged me £115 to change the booking A grieving woman has hit out at budget airline Ryanair after she was charged £115 to amend a flight she'd booked with her late sister who died in a tragic accident.

Anita Kozłowska, from Coventry, booked a sisters' trip to Lanzarote with her sibling Ada, who lives in Poland, for September 2025 to mark Ada's 30th birthday.

Anita tearfully told Coventry Live: 'I have lost four family members in the blink of an eye... that was meant to be a present for my sister that I never had a chance to even surprise her with [it], and I have explained that to Ryanair.'.

Anita Kozłowska (pictured) booked the trip for her sister Ada as a 30th birthday surprise and she never got to tell her.

After sending off her loved ones in Poland, Anita made the decision to change the booking, which initially had Ada's name on it and wanted to take her little cousin on the vacation.
