A SAVVY woman has revealed how she managed to earn £800 with an easy side hustle over Christmas that involved her hanging out with cats. Feline lover Liv earns money by cat sitting and all she has to do is pop round to people’s houses for 30 to 60 mins each day.
When she is there, she will check if they are ok, feed them and give them some love and attention if they want to have it. On her @livscatisland account, she shared her December earnings and the adorable moggies she looked after. First up was Tiger, whose owners went away for two weeks, meaning she earned £240 for her visits.

She wrote: “He is an observant boy and only wanted feeding.”. Next up was Tuppence, who wanted snacks and attention over the three days (Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day) that his owners were away. Liv charged £102 for this service and said this is double the typical rate due to it being over Christmas.
She visited Lily the cat four times over the festive period, which came to £84, Max the moggie earned her £247 for two weeks of visits, and £84 for New Year check ups on Thomas. Finally she looked after Henry the cat for a few days, which earned her another £84.
Liv shared how she absolutely loves her cat sitting job, and recommended it anyone looking to earn some extra cash. She wrote: “Still thinking about cat sitting. “This is your sign.”. Many cat fans seemed keen to start the side hustle for themselves, with one saying: “I love cats more than people.”.
