A SERIES of hidden channels have landed on people's TVs via a little-known bonus service. There are more than a dozen to watch - and one shows back-to-back episodes of a classic British comedy. Rowan Atkinson's 90s favourite Mr Bean has its very own channel.
It's the second such channel related to the iconic character, with another already available devoted to the animated Bean series. Other stations on the platform show a mix of hit US shows - as well as movies. They're all available via Samsung TV Plus, which hosts hundreds of additional channels at no extra cost.
The service can be found on most modern Samsung smart TVs and requires no set up. The other dozen channels come as part of a new deal with US firm A+E Networks (Hearst Networks) from The History Channel and Lifetime. A channel devoted to US reality series Ax Men is included, which documents the dangers encountered by loggers in Northwestern Oregon, Washington, Montana, Louisiana and Florida.
There's also Dog The Bounty Hunter following the work of American bounty hunter Duane "Dog" Chapman. And another shows all things Duck Dynasty, providing an inside look into the lives of the wealthy Robertson family. Others include a channel for everything to do with Hoarders, I survived… for life or death stories, as well as Modern Marvels.
