The younger man agreed, after all he had never met the colleague in question and didn't really know anyone at the party. But he didn't expect to hear about the woman's true love - a man who she had a year-long affair with.

He was 'tipsy' and 'just looking for a fun conversation' at the work function and never expected things to take such a turn.
