A WOMAN has shared the genius way she stays warm in her London flat without turning the heating on. She explained she can't afford to whack up the heat in her home, so is always looking into different ways to keep herself feeling toasty. And one of the most effective ways she's found is by wearing a huge puffer suit she inherited from her dad.

"The weather in the UK is such a joke," she raged in a video on her TikTok page. "I am so cold, but I refuse to have my heating on all day. "So instead I'm wearing this rather sexy little puffer suit!". She added that her dad had actually worn the suit on his expedition up Mount Everest.

"But I'm just wearing it in my flat in London because I'm so cold!" she concluded. "How the girlies are staying warm this winter," she captioned her video. And the comments section was quickly filled with people weighing in on her solution, with one writing: "It's so sad that the price to heat our homes these days.

"It's so ridiculous that we need to do things like this!". "I know it’s so crazy!! I don’t know why the UK is like this," the woman replied. "I have one of those hot water bottle belts, it’s perfect," another said. "I got mine on Amazon for less than £10 a couple years ago and it’s just perfect!.

"Comes with a small hot water bottle, I wear it all the time at home instead of having the heating on.". "Sorry what?! I need one!" she answered. "Everest, London - same same," a third laughed. As someone else agreed, writing: "Probably warmer on top of Everest than London!".
