Ryan Reynolds' team Wrexham were one of several clubs linked with a loan move for the 19-year-old during the summer transfer window, along with Championship sides Sunderland and Hull City.
Nonetheless, it was later revealed that Lankshear would be kept in the first-team squad after making a strong impression for Spurs since joining from Sheffield United for £2million in August 2022.
Lankshear made his Spurs first team debut during their Europa League victory over Ferencvaros in October.
However, Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou has now confirmed the young striker could be allowed to leave on loan in January to gain more minutes.
