A Hinge employee has lifted the lid on the subtle hints that can show someone isn't interested in you on the dating app - and they're quite surprising. In a new interview with Business Insider, Logan Ury, who is the director of relationship science at Hinge, shared what you need to look out for to ensure that special someone likes you back, and it's not just a one-sided quest for love.

For those who may be unfamiliar, Hinge is a popular online dating app, which lets users match with each other with their 'Nobel-Prize-winning algorithm.'. However, while you may have a lot of matches on the app, there are some things you need to pay attention to, because it can reveal whether or not someone really likes you or not.

Ury broke down something called 'digital body language,' which covers things like how often someone answers your messages, double texting, and the emojis they use. She explained that it's important to be able to recognize digital body language, revealing that one of the signs someone just isn't that into you is when they don't consistently respond to your messages.

Business Insider reported that someone's responses can reflect how serious they are about a potential match. 'It's much better to just not play games and respond quickly because those people are more likely to get onto dates and into relationships,' Ury told the outlet.
