The grand finale of The Traitors, the BBC’s hit reality show, takes place this Friday, leaving rapt viewers on the edge of their seats as they try to predict the players’ final moves. Hosted by Claudia Winkleman and filmed at spooky Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands, the third series comes to a head with the Faithfuls so far having unmasked just two Traitors in their midst.
Another Faithful is set to be murdered tonight, and on Friday we discover which contestant – or contestants – will walk away with the life-changing prize pot: £120,000 was up for grabs, but since the players didn’t bank all the available cash on missions, it’s likely to be nearer £95,000.
This was the same sum won by Traitor Harry Clark in last year’s epic final. Will Minah, a Traitor from day one, continue to slip under the radar with her gentle treachery? Or will the remaining Faithfuls get their act together and sniff her out? And what exactly is the twist Claudia says could ‘turn the game on its head’?.
Here, ahead of the dramatic showdown, superfan CLAUDIA CONNELL looks at the remaining contestants – six Faithfuls and two Traitors – and rates their chances of victory... Faithful: Jake Brown, 28, project manager from Barrow-in-Furness. Game plan: Jake was right to revel in the glory of being the only Faithful to suspect Traitor Linda Rands from the beginning.
