AN INTERIOR designer has revealed the five things you need to ditch to avoid your home looking cheap. So if you want your guests to be impressed when they come and visit your pad, you’ll have to take notes. Not only should you prepare to be attacked if you’ve got a crushed velvet sofa, but you may also need to bin your bathroom towels too.

Krish Klean, who works for Krish Interior, took to social media to share their expert advice on how to make a home look luxurious, leaving many totally stunned. Alongside the short clip, the interior pro wrote: “Things that make your home look CHEAP.”.

The interior pro then shared the five things that you would never find in their house - the first of which being mismatch mugs. In addition to this, the content creator also shared their distaste for roller blinds and crushed velvet furniture - with the latter having massively risen in popularity in the past five years.

The interior designer also advised people to avoid rugs that are too small for a space and colourful towels. Instead of brightly coloured bathroom towels, the interior pro instead recommended white towels for a more sophisticated look. The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @krishklean, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 203,800 views in just 20 hours.
