Incredible moment Tiger Woods nails the camera at TGL on first attempt

The debut of Tiger Woods and Rory McIlory's TGL golf league wowed fans on Tuesday night, but there was also one incredible moment from Woods before the action kicked off. The 15-time Major winner, whose Jupiter Links team will make their TGL debut next Tuesday, was playing around on the league's futuristic set at SoFi Stadium when someone asked if he could hit the ball at a camera.

And as he later told McIlroy and Mike McCarley (the founder of TGL parent company TMRW Sports) in a mic'd up segment, he managed to achieve the feat on the first try. Video posted to TGL's social media shows Woods nailing an extremely high-perched camera on the set, leading to audible 'oohs and ahs' in the area.

Fans were also left stunned by the feat online. 'Ok this is insane though,' one wrote on X. TGL Golf, co-founded by Tiger Woods, got off to an exciting start on Tuesday night. Woods was seen telling Rory McIlroy and Mike McCarley about how he hit the camera.

'Still the GOAT!,' a third added. The league has brought golf into the 21st century with its use of technology, as players hit onto a massive 64 feet wide, 53 feet high simulator screen to register their distance and position.
Things then move to the shortgame area to hole out, with only one team winning a point for the hole. With creators Woods and McIlroy watching on from the stands, the first match-up saw the likes of Xander Schauffele, Rickie Fowler and Matt Fitzpatrick taking on Shane Lowry, Ludvig Aberg and Wyndham Clark.
