Her dulcet Scottish tones are a familiar sound inside millions of homes around the country. But when Lorraine Kelly isn’t sitting on the breakfast TV sofa, she can be found inside a place she has made all her own. The presenter has been living with their husband, Steve, in a spacious riverside home in a quiet Buckinghamshire town since selling their £845,000 house in Dundee in 2017 when their daughter Rosie moved out.
But even though it's her private getaway, once the cameras stop rolling, she still shares glimpses of their abode through posts on social media. They include pictures of her spacious kitchen, orangery-style conservatory, sprawling garden next to a picturesque river and even a cosy room hidden away in a wooden cabin.
One photo showed the TV star enjoying a glass of wine in a mini-bar area in the corner of her kitchen, complete with a wine fridge, ice bucket and everything she needs to make cocktails. Another, capturing her beloved terrier Angus on her bed, reveals a safari-themed bedroom with giraffe cushions, tropical print wallpaper, and a zebra ornament on her bedside table.
One photo inside the couple’s TV room shows an interior with high ceilings and wooden panels and beams. That’s a different space to the living room, with packed bookcases and a big brown corduroy sofa, where Lorraine has shared videos to promote her new novel, The Island Swimmer.
Judging by the number of photos the presenter has taken in her conservatory, it seems to be her favourite part of the house. Glass doors and windows fill the room with natural daylight. The room leads out to a wooden decking area and patio surrounded by greenery.
