Juventus and Porto are the latest clubs to enquire about a loan deal for Chelsea's Carney Chukwuemeka. The Blues have already completed one piece of loan business with Juventus as Renato Veiga joined the Turin club on Monday night for £3.2m but are also keen to find a new home for Chukwuemeka.
West Ham, Everton and Borussia Dortmund have also expressed interest in a move for the 21-year-old. Chelsea have been trying to steer interested clubs towards the midfielder's £40m buy-out clause but his suitors are more interested in a short-term move.
Chelsea had hoped to send him to Strasbourg on loan as they believe he would progress under their manager Liam Rosenior but, it is understood, that the player is keen to test himself in a stronger league than France's Ligue 1. Chukwuemeka joined Chelsea for £20m in 2022 on a six-year-deal but has found his opportunities limited - with just minutes in the Conference League and League Cup so far this season.
Carney Chukwuemeka has made little impact since joining Chelsea from Aston Villa for £20m. Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca admitted this month that Chukwuemeka should leave the club. Chelsea defender Renato Veiga has joined Juventus on loan in a £3.2m deal.
The England U20 international was seen as one of the brightest talents in the country and made 14 Premier League appearances for Aston Villa before his move to west London. His career has been stalled by injuries but he retains many admirers who believe there is still a very talented player there.
