Kate Middleton's brother James has given a heartwarming insight into festive plans with sisters - and shared how they ensure their children all bond with one another. In an interview, the Princess of Wales's younger sibling, 37, said that the three Middletons, including Pippa, 41, always make time for each other during the festive season.
Speaking to The Times, he looked back on previous holidays spent together as a family, telling the outlet the festive period is still as important as ever to the trio. Despite each of the siblings having grown up and had families of their own, the he insisted that they 'always make sure that we spend time as a wider family so that the cousins get to spend time together, especially around Christmas.'.
Though she may be a princess now, Kate maintains a strong connection with her family, including her brother, James, who speaks fondly of her. Elsewhere in the interview, James reminisced on the three's adventurous outings on past summer vacations, telling the outlet: 'We were like something from The Famous Five.'.
'Growing up, we’d also head to the Lake District, staying in rented cottages around Coniston Water and Windermere. It’s a very special place for us as a family. 'The Old Man of Coniston is one of my favourite mountains — I first climbed it on my dad’s back when I was four years old.'.
