Kris Jenner has reportedly enlisted Khloe Kardashian's ex-husband Lamar Odom in a bid to boost the popularity of the family's Hulu show. The trailer for the forthcoming season of The Kardashians teases Kourtney's concerns about sister Kim and a significant decision made by Khloe. However, it's Lamar Odom's reunion with his ex-wife that has caught fans' attention. On Reddit, one viewer commented: "If this is a stunt it's misguided. If it's not a stunt I feel like Khloe needs a five year vacation." Another added: "If you don't have a storyline, cancel the show. Feels so unnecessary and creepy of the family to produce this." Another viewer chimed in: "They must be pretty desperate to get Lamar on the show.".
An insider told The Sun that Khloe's "boring" lifestyle poses "a bit of a problem for the show" as she "has no storyline, zilch," reports the Express US. They added: "She celebrated her 40th birthday, spent time with her kids and hung out with family. She focused on co-parenting and being a mom.".
While many fans appreciate her "simple life," it doesn't make for compelling TV. The source confessed: "She was once the viewers' favourite because her life was quite messy, and she was always open and raw on the show. But not now. Kris is resorting to bringing back Lamar and making that the big storyline.".
Khloe and Lamar were married one month after they met in 2009, at music producer Irving Azoff’s Beverly Hills mansion in Beverly Hills, with roughly 200 guests who celebrated the impromptu wedding. The wedding featured on Keeping Up With The Kardashians and made headlines with PEOPLE reporting a source had shared: “It may seem like it's a quickie wedding to everyone else, but Khloe knows what she wants".
