LA police arrest brazen burglar dressed up as firefighter looting home hit by wildfire horror Los Angeles police have arrested a burglar who was dressed up as a firefighter.
Los Angeles Police Department Chief Jim McDonnell said of the man dressed as a firefighter: "We have people who will go to all ends to do what they do.".
One man, who was driving a truck, was arrested in the Palisades area, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and LAPD said.
Curfew remains in place for parts of Los Angeles affected by the fires, with fire zones seeing the National Guard and police patrol these areas.
Sheriff Robert Luna confirmed 29 people had been arrested, with many taken in for looting in the fire-swept region.
