And while the defeat would have been bad enough, Woods was given a brutal reminder by young son Leo, who was sporting Newcastle pyjamas throughout the evening.
Woods’ fiance Adam Collard also shared a picture of their young son with another Newcastle onesie on reading: 'Mini Magpie'.
Before Christmas, the Spaniard gave Woods a gift including an Arsenal onesie covered in the club’s iconic cannon, a present she labelled as “too cute”.
Having fallen to a 2-0 defeat in the first leg, Newcastle compounded Arsenal’s misery with another success, eventually winning 4-0 on aggregate - the goals coming from Jacob Murphy and Anthony Gordon.
