Leomie Anderson has opened up the 'most challenging experiences of her life', as she explained how it had prepared her to star in Celebrity Bear Hunt. The supermodel, 31, is one of the 12 famous faces taking part in the action-packed show in Costa Rica alongside adventurer Bear Grylls, 50, where they will have to take on daring and gruelling challenges.

But speaking ahead of the series, Leomie revealed that it is not her first time facing difficult challenges, as she opened up on becoming the guardian of her cousins when she was just 28-years-old. She explained how she 'became a parent overnight' to her two young relatives, aged 15 and 10 at the time.

She said: 'I would say probably one of the most challenging experiences of my life was becoming the guardian of my cousins for two years. 'That was very challenging, but also very rewarding because I basically became a parent overnight.
